I found myself making art from a young age. I grew up in rural Finland, where my paintings were informed by the rustic landscapes and endless forests where a girl could dream for miles. Life brought me from the Finnish lake shores to the Pacific coast, and with it, my inspiration shifted like a fault line. Plucked from one world and dropped into a very new one, my penchant to explore, like my own horizons, only expanded and soared. Today, my art is an exploration of the mystical, giving shape to what we cannot see. Through love and loss, my greyscale templates took on vibrant blues and hints of vermilion. Every piece is a story of its own, unfolding as I craft the work with my humble hands, guided by feeling and intuition.
